Yesterday, I survived paintballing with minor casualties (bruises & a painful sleep). So today I took on hot vinyasa yoga. I am in love. This isn’t to say that I’m in complete yogi mode now, but now I understand how people can become that way. I loved the sweat + toxins + negativity dripping off my body. Yoga is such a calming, body-empowering experience. If you haven’t done it, I suggest you try it. Try it with an open mind. Anyone going in with the giggles should promptly shape up or ship out.
This experience made me realize how much I take breathing for granted. It’s such a calming and rejuvenating experience to consider how air moves through your body. And it’s how we LIVE.
I left the studio with a sticky body, clear mind, & an unshakable smile. It’s been a long while since I’ve felt so at peace with myself. Lately I’ve been worried about so many things, my thoughts racing with angers, frustrations, annoyances. It was great to go and sweat it out. Loved it. I’m definitely going again.
